“As I always say, for me, Letovo is a philanthropic project, my gift to this country for the opportunity to realize myself here. This is a very complicated project, one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced. I would call it a mix of two domains: professional education and goal setting, the skill of achieving goals inherent in business.” This is a quote from the speech delivered by Vadim Moshkovich, the founder of Letovo, at the panel discussion Large Business in Education: Expectations and Reality at the EdCrunch Conference held on December 8-10. EdCrunch is a major event in the field of education: this conference gathers professionals and experts who share their experiences here. This is a place where the pedagogical community is looking for answers to the most topical issues and making plans. Besides the school founder, Madlena Shaginyan, head of innovation and development dept. at Letovo, spoke at the conference. She participated in the discussion Skills for Success in Life: Can We Learn Them at School? Math teacher Aleksandr Shklover moderated a masterclass by Andrew Hutcheson Learning with Classcraft: Motivating Students at Home and in the Classroom and history teacher Anastasia Sukhenko held a masterclass dedicated to personalizing education in a pandemic.
