Exhibition in Our School
23 November 2020
Comprehensive development of our students is a primary task of our school. Our students regularly go to theatres and exhibitions, take part in workshops and lectures on arts, and learn intricate details of architecture and building. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, another exhibition was arranged directly at the school. For several weeks one wing of our school was home to paintings that drew deep and profound attention to themselves. Guided tour of Elena Cherkasova’s paintings exhibition was a collaboration between Letovo and the RANEPA Intellectual Club Cultural Affairs headed by Mikhail Kukin. The tour was led in an unusual way: students were at school viewing paintings, and the guide told about all the masterpieces remotely using online tools. Despite its unusual nature, that approach did not stop students from getting acquainted with Elena Cherkasova’s works and having profound discussion about them.
