The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a test used for admissions by US universities. It can only be taken at a center accredited by the College Board, an organization responsible for developing and delivering the SAT. LETOVO School is one of the four centers certified in Russia. The first SAT exam was held at the school in October 2019; the latest one was held on October 3, 2020. In total, since LETOVO was accredited, the exam has been held six times, allowing more than 700 students from different cities and schools to participate in the testing.
However, LETOVO is remarkable not only as an accredited center but also as the school whose students have shown outstanding SAT results. The highest possible SAT score is 1600. This academic year, the median score calculated for all those who took the SAT in all countries is 1450. According to the exam results, 91% of Letovo students who took the SAT are in the top 10%, 55% are in the top 5%, and 2 students showed results that only 1% of the test-takers in the world scored – 1580!
Congratulations to our students and their teachers and tutors!
